Current Information:Age-20 19 Lansdowne Road, Dalston Doullens Communal Cemetery1, France In February, 1916, 7th Middlesex left 8th Division to become part of 167 Brigade, 56th (London Territorial) Division and then, after a period of training, moved south to the Somme. Between 8th May and 16th May, 1916, 7th Middlesex were in the front line trenches at Hebuterne and it was very likely that during this period in the firing line, Albert Christmas sustained the wounds from which he died on 19th May, 1916. |
